Thijs Stessen

I am an AI graduate who wants to make a positive impact by using AI to solve real-world problems. During my studies at the University of Amsterdam I focused on Deep Learning, combining Physics and Machine Learning and building interpretable systems.

On these subjects I have published work at NeurIPS and ICML, two major conferences, and my Master thesis explored the use of AI in numerical simulation to improve medical treatments.

I am currently looking for my first role in AI, specifically one where I can combine my research and engineering skills to build practical projects that have meaningful impact.
